For this purpose we focus on emotional intelligence in the workplace

This is the latest product from Everything DISC® is called Agile EQ™. A result of almost 2 years in preparation this combines classroom training with a personalised learning experience that gives participants the skills to read the emotional and interpersonal needs of a situation. Having these vital weapons in their business arsenal, they can respond accordingly before conflict occurs or disharmony spreads. They will also:

Learn to navigate outside their comfort zone.

Be empowered to meet the demands of any situation.

By utilising technology with tried-and-testing teaching methods, Agile EQ™ merges facilitated classroom training (or remote catch-up) with online pre-work and follow-up tools. This allows participants to enjoy a fully personalised learning experience by creating and understanding their own DISC® style, understand their existing EQ strengths, recognise their potential and commitment to customised strategies for building agility.

As much as we like to be led by you and your organisations focus we find that 3 Modules are effective and carry substantial impact:

1 – Discover your style and strengths ( online questionnaire)

2- The value of other approaches (comparisons of others reports with ourselves)

3 – Action planning – ACT! (working with your us)

NB Modules can also be interchangeable for example you could eliminate the comparison unit or action planning.

It is important to note here that we as human beings are resistant to change, a consequence of which can be disadvantageous against  competition. Hence the necessity to focus on your one overarching focus. That way we are more likely to change that one habit to the benefit of those around us. Mindsets – Situational – Demands we adhere to a more simplistic model around Interpersonal – Interpersonal inline with Awareness – Management to capture aspects of the workplace only. Whereas other models run the risk of compromising by focusing on wider issues.

The personalised profile they create runs to 26-pages and helps individuals to understand and acknowledge their mindset and what shapes their responses. Not only that, but their interactions and what opportunities will exist to go beyond their comfort zone. They will learn strategies that allows them to grow personally and develop professionally. In doing so, they become more agile in their approach to socially- and emotionally-charged situations.

Essentially this instrument is for people development and is not diagnostic. The process aims to enable individuals to adapt more readily to the demands of emotionally charged situations

Absence of trust.Fear of conflict.Lack of commitment.Avoidance of accountability.Inattention on results.

Emotional intelligence traits

Think about those for a minute and what they mean. Look at the words. Not finance. Not strategy. Not technology. They are all focused around people working and interacting together.

The measure of success for most organisations is usually determined by how much money they make, the results they achieve or how rich their shareholders become. There’s nothing intrinsically wrong with any of that, but there’s a deeper layer that underpins them all but is so often missed.

No successful company can achieve the highest levels of success without recognising that it’s the people in their employ, and how they interact, that drives that success.

If you’re interested in getting on board with this exciting program, we’re going to start by asking you one quick question; ”what do you want and need your people to be doing differently?” what is your focus?

Like anything in life, effective teams are not created overnight. They take a little time and a little effort to get them how you want them, but it’s more than possible and we are here to support you throughout the process, from start to finish.

Its important to note that the demand for an agile work place previous to COVID - 19 was extremely high. Since which the attributes of emotional intelligence are thought to have now become a prerequisite for reasons of economic, social and environmental.

We have worked hard at changing our delivery method by moving towards offering our service in a way that offers more in the way of learning touch points yet no physical touch points. Rather than what was previously facilitated in the classroom we now conducted remotely utilising a blended learning approach. Embedding more time slots than previous in reduced time.

Benefits include less impact on your valuable time, reducing administration, reserving a room etc. Yet on the same hand learners will benefit from these increased touch points. With this practice we are already seeing that this new way of delivery is carrying a more positive impact for learners. Moving on from a 'Once Done' approach to ‘Return to Learn’ providing shorter interaction times yet with more regularity. Nothing new about the fact that post experiential learning has always brought about favourable actions.
