There are two levels of access on Catalyst. Catalyst Access — the learner level — is what most people in your organisation will have.

  1. You complete the assessment
  2. Access your personal profile
  3. Compare styles with colleagues

You don’t have backend controls to manage other people’s access.

Catalyst Administrator Experience is for those managing the programme.

With this, you can:

  1. Add and manage people
  2. Create groups, set up departments,, divisions.
  3. Allocate additional assessments at any point.

To get this level, you need two things: 1) a Catalyst learner account. 2)  an EPIC Administrator Account,  the backend system used to generate DiSC access codes and manage folders and assessments.

Frequently Asked Questions


Q: Do we need trained DiSC practitioners to use Catalyst?

A: Not necessarily. Many organisations run Everything DiSC or DiSC on Catalyst with their inhouse learning and development team. You can of course request the support of a certified practitioner who handles facilitation and helps interpret results. If you want to administer the programme fully in-house on an ongoing basis, a DiSC certification is well worth considering, and we can advise on it.

Q: Do you have a trainers kit for DiSC on Catalyst?

A: Yes, the Practitioner Kit for Catalyst provides a great experience and gives you so much more than the traditional downloaded kits.

Q: What’s the difference between DiSC on Catalyst and a standard DiSC PDF report?#

A: This PDF document gives you a an in-depth 20 plus page Everything DiSC personalised report, useful, but static. Catalyst gives you the same insights in a platform where you can compare styles, explore your profile in depth, and get real-time guidance for specific interactions.

Q: We’ve already run DiSC assessments. Can we move to Catalyst?

A:  Get in touch, and we’ll check what’s possible for your organisation.

Q: How quickly can we get set up?

A: Once we have your details, for leaner accounts we can usually generate access codes to sit in and set up your organisation within 48 hours.
For an administrator account, most organisations are up and running within a few days. The initial facilitated session usually runs for a half or full day, depending on group size.
